We are looking for friendly and approachable individuals to join our team as a Coffee Bar Support Volunteer. What You'll Be Doing: Hours: Flexible between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday-Sunday. Flexibility is required as hours may vary depending on special events or activities. In this role, you will assist with the preparation and delivery of drink refreshments and food, always ensuring high-quality customer service. Your main responsibilities will include serving hot and cold beverages, as well as light refreshments to customers and visitors. You will also take payments for drinks and reconcile the till at the end of your shifts. A key part of this role is to communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers, creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere. We value a positive attitude and a consistent, engaging team player who embodies our DNA. You will be proactive in keeping the bar stocked and replenished and ensure that the coffee bar area is always tidy and presentable. What We're Looking For: Experience within the hospitality sector, ideally within the food and drink sector. Experience of an older person's scheme or similar would be beneficial Excellent customer service skills with a sympathetic approach to the needs of vulnerable customers Proven performer who enjoys a challenge and has plenty of initiative Positive attitude and a consistent, engaging team player who is proactive and prioritises workload Natural communicator and relationship builder with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically. You will need to have a sympathetic approach to the needs of vulnerable customers, a positive attitude, and the ability to prioritise your workload.
