You will be responsible for flow management of the Express Set Down (ESD) on the Terminal Forecourt to reduce congestion and maintain the flow of traffic whilst providing directional information to passengers to both inner and outer lanes of terminal forecourt. You will ensure proper control and safe access for the general public, maintain continuous vigilance and escalate any concerns through the appropriate channels. Accountabilities Monitor the operation of automatic entry and exit barriers in the M&G yard area, report any issues to the appropriate channels. Operate the car park barrier system at M&G entrance (VCC), checking customer paperwork where ANPR not recognized, providing customers with lane information cards to hand in at reception. Ensure customers and returning drivers are parking in the correct spaces to allow for maximum capacity whilst adhering to Health and Safety standards. Conduct yard patrols as required to ensure smooth operational flow Assist with removal (skating) of incorrectly parked vehicles using GoJacks (training provided) Marshalling ESD (Express Set Down) to ensure a smooth flow of traffic is maintained whilst reporting abandoned vehicles, left luggage or any security concerns through the appropriate channels. Marshalling other car parks when required. To be a multi-skilled team member able to deliver all aspects of the car park operations and enabling our customers to receive world class service.
