Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist Location: Banks, Southport. Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £35000 - £45000 Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties. You will work closely with clients of all ages, developing personalized therapy plans and collaborating with other professionals to ensure holistic care. Key Responsibilities: Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties. Developing individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client. Providing direct therapy to individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based techniques. Collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress, and making adjustments to therapy plans as needed. Offering support and training to caregivers and other professionals involved in the client's care. Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest practices and methodologies. Essential Requirements: A degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent). Registration with [Insert relevant regulatory body, e.g., HCPC, RCSLT]. Experience working with a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively. Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to the needs of clients. Desirable Qualifications: Experience working in Nursing Home setting.
