Strategic Planning Coordinator is a critical member of Tarmac’s Land & Natural Resources (L&NR) function. You will be part of the Midlands Strategic Planning Team, which is focused on sustaining the Tarmac business through securing land and mineral assets, providing Real Estate administration through the management and reporting of key data and associated processes Ensuring that all duties are completed by required deadlines and that the appropriate information is readily available for end users in a required and useable format.
In role of Strategic Planning Coordinator you will:
Work closely with other Coordinators within the L&NR function in providing administration support and to further individual development
Manage and co-ordinate the Property Transaction Approval process, including tracking and gaining of approvals and circulation of documentation.
Assist with management and forecasting of spend and progress on Capital projects for mineral continuity and acquisitions.
Raising and administration of Purchase Orders, recording payments and producing reports identifying spend.
Assist with the population and updating of the electronic filing system
Assist with review and improvement of processes to ensure the team is working effectively
Support co-ordination of training
Ordering of supplies for the team such as PPE, stationery and IT equipment
Complete and submit formal annual mineral monitoring returns
Ad hoc administrative work
Support on Stakeholder engagement events
Booking travel and hotel accommodation
Successful candidate for theStrategic Planning Coordinator will ideally have:
Strong IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel and Powerpoint), Sharepoint and SAP
Strong administration skills with attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
Excellent team working skills with the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to ensure effective communication with a wide range of contacts both internal and external to the business
Good organisational skills
Attention to detail
Discretion and trustworthiness, along with flexibility and adaptability
