Our client is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to cover the Midlands areas. The successful Refrigeration Engineer will have experience working with all forms of industrial and commercial refrigeration equipment.
Key Responsibilities for the Refrigeration Engineer
1. Deliver service and maintenance work on customer sites to company engineering standards.
2. Commissioning & Project Management assistance with installation projects.
3. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety procedures and legislative compliance in all tasks undertaken.
4. Identify opportunities to improve site safety, plant reliability, and operating efficiency.
5. Perform adhoc duties as and when required by the supervisor or the General Manager of the company.
6. Work overtime as and when the business requires, which may include nights and weekends with little notice.
7. Use emailing/calendars to plan daily work requirements to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Experience for the Refrigeration Engineer
1. Fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with Refrigeration Handling City and Guilds qualification (F-Gas Qualification).
2. Hold City and Guilds Level 2/3 Refrigeration/Air Conditioning.
3. Possess CSCS card, IPAF, Co2 handler, Asbestos awareness, and PASMA mobile tower.
4. Ammonia safe handling certificate and at least two years' relevant experience in this field (mandatory).
5. A minimum of 5+ years' experience carrying out on-site installation, repair, and maintenance works.
