Warehouse Operative Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 & Friday 08:00 - 15:30 £12.00 per hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our brand new client based in Cumbernauld. You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence and must be aged 25 or over for this role for insurance purposes The successful candidate will be working with a dedicated team of three in managing the daily operations of our client's warehouse. Benefits Working as a Warehouse Operative for our client your benefits will be: Opportunity for a permanent contract after completing your probationary period Weekly pay every Friday Overtime available as and when client may require Free site parking Immediate start following successful interview with People Solutions and our client Career progression Day to Day Duties Working as a warehouse operative for our client your duties will be: Stock organisation Picking orders Loading and unloading stock Driving the company van and delivering to customers as and when required Shrink wrapping orders to be prepared dispatch Using the Counterbalance Forklift Essential Skills Skills needed to be a Warehouse Operative with our client are: Valid UK Category B Driving Licence Due to client's insurance, applicants MUST be 25 years old Valid RTITB Counterbalance Licence Physically fit, capable of lifting and moving heavy goods Punctual, reliable, and adaptable for supporting the team Have no more than six points on Driving Licence for minor infringements No DR or DD convictions can be accepted, due to client's insurance This can be a physically demanding role, so you must be prepared for heavy lifting Desirable Experience Desirable experience needed to be a Warehouse Operative with our client is: Familiarity with local road networks Similar experience as a Driver's Mate or similar delivery support role What training is provided?
