In the Revenues Officer - Sundry Invoices role, you will be:
* Working within a supportive finance department, playing a key role in ensuring effective income collection through the management and recovery of sundry debt.
* Assisting with the maintenance and control of financial systems.
* Proactively recovering outstanding debts by negotiating payment plans and handling sensitive cases.
* Communicating confidently with customers, internal departments, and external partners (phone, email, and in person).
* Representing the organisation at County Court hearings and liaising with High Court Enforcement where necessary.
* Supporting process improvements, staff training, and performance reporting.
* Contributing to audits and financial reviews as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in income recovery, finance, or debt management (public sector experience an advantage).
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with challenging or sensitive situations.
* Confidence in using financial systems and MS Office applications.
* A flexible, proactive approach to managing workload and problem-solving.
This is a temporary role up until the end of June initially, working full time - Monday to Friday. You'll start on a salary of £14.36 per hour and be based in modern offices in Colwyn Bay.
