We’re looking for two enthusiastic Kitchen and Bathroom fitters to join our Planned Kitchen and Bathroom Team. The role offers great job satisfaction with a chance to work on exciting projects and make a real difference to the lives of our tenants.
Contractually based out of our Portsmouth office, you’ll be covering Portsmouth and the South Hampshire area.This is a full-time permanent role, working 39 hours per week.
Successful applicants will have broad experience in all aspects of Kitchen and Bathroom fitting and show an interest in Social Housing.

Here’s the facts about the role:
This is a predominantly lone working position within our planned kitchen and bathrooms team, providing a first-class refurbishment service working in a mixture of tenanted and un-tenanted properties. You’ll be working in our homes for 5 to 6 working days at a time. This is not site work.
Our Kitchen and Bathroom fitters complete the whole project from start to finish, from removing the old kitchen and bathroom to installation of the new. This is a multi-skilled role and will also include all plumbing, decorating and tiling. Please evidence your experience in these areas on your application form and CV. All kitchen units are delivered ready for install and some heavy lifting will be required.
Key responsibilities:
* Remove and install complete bathroom suites, including baths, WCs, wash hand basins, showers, and associated fixtures and fittings.
* Remove and install complete kitchens, including all units, worktops, plumbing, sinks and associated fixtures and fittings.
* Complete bonding, tiling, carpentry and decoration to a high standard.
* Work independently and unsupervised, adhering to industry best practices and health and safety regulations.
* Communicate professionally with customers, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the work being carried out.
* Use materials and tools effectively, minimizing waste and maintaining appropriate stock levels in the company van.
To be considered for the role of Kitchen and Bathroom fitter, you’ll have the below skills and experience:
* Experience in plumbing, first and second fix
* Experience in tiling and decorating
* Experience in kitchen & bathroom fitting
* Able to deliver and install new kitchen or bathroom
* Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Team player
Plastering experience would be a benefit but is not essential. This role will also involve some light admin duties and the use of an electronic handheld device, so you’ll need to have some basic tech skills.
You’ll need to have a full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) so you can drive a company van. This role is subject to a basic disclosure check/satisfactory driving licence check.
