Meetings and Events Sales and Planning Manager - art'otel Battersea
We're recruiting for a Meeting and Events Sales and Planning Manager for our art'otel Battersea! A premium lifestyle hotel situated in the heart of the iconic Battersea Power Station development. The 164 keys art'otel London Battersea power station sits in the heart of this energised neighbourhood.
You will take charge of the most exciting and complex enquiries in the events space! As part of our M&E Sales and Planning team, you'll play an important role in driving success by meeting both M&E and room budget targets. You will be required to bring your in-depth knowledge of the events industry, market trends, and competition to the table, and be at the forefront of shaping unforgettable events at art'otel Battersea.

As a Meetings and Events Sales and Planning Manager you will
* Confirm all events, handle client requests with relevant teams to secure conversion and ensure post event follow up to confirm repeat business
* Be the key liaison person between sales cluster function and relevant General Manager/s.
* Be responsible for timely responses of all enquiries and yielding the diary effectively for all large event enquiries and repeat business.
* Have an eye for detail and respond efficiently to client and leadership feedback
* Be a strong communicator with both internal and external guests, clients, agents and colleagues
* Maintain strong client relationships to ensure smooth event planning process for the client and return business.
* Always go the extra mile to accommodate client's needs.
* Work closely with M&E operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
* Produce clear and accurate BEOs, attend weekly BEO meetings and hand over to the team in charge on the day.
* Staying for the first couple of hours on the day of the event might be required for large scale events.
