Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Teaching Personnel is looking for an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 6 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role requires a patient and resilient individual who can provide tailored support to help the child manage their emotions and engage positively in learning.
The Role:
* Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 6 child with SEMH needs
* Implementing strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behavior
* Assisting with academic tasks and social development
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support the child’s progress
The Ideal Candidate:
* Must have experience working with children with SEMH needs
* Strong behavior management skills and a calm, supportive approach
* Ability to build positive relationships and encourage engagement in learning
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
