The Role: Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)
A multi-skilled engineer is required to manage and maintain building systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all test equipment is calibrated, maintained, and compliant with regulations.
2. Maintain PPE in good condition and use appropriately.
3. Have knowledge of operational safety and regulations, especially for systems such as pressure, water, and gas.
4. Be aware of all relevant Risk Assessments and perform Dynamic Risk Assessments before tasks.
5. Conduct daily building walks to identify faults, report, and rectify within SLA.
6. Diagnose and fix various building maintenance issues.
7. Record all work activities accurately, including reactive and corrective jobs.
8. Update asset data on the CMMS using mobile tools.
9. Promote CBRE's core values consistently.
10. Liaise with Helpdesk for response to planned and reactive tasks.
11. Support site compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
12. Undertake Control of Works training and support other APs and CPs.
13. Participate in Emergency Call Out duties as per the Out of Hours Rota.
14. Perform other duties as directed by management.
15. Produce reports for the AOM as required.
16. Maintain stock levels of spares.
Person Specification:
* Technical training (NVQ3 or equivalent) in multiple disciplines (AC, Plumbing, Mechanical, Gas, etc.).
* City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate or equivalent in electrical discipline.
* City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 certificate in electrical installations BS 7671 (18th Edition) or equivalent.
* Experience in facilities management.
* Organized, able to prioritize in high-pressure environments.
* Strategic and tactical thinking skills for client satisfaction.
* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
* Customer-focused attitude, considering impact on clients and team.
