This role is only suitable for nurses already registered with the NMC.

In addition, we offer flexible working arrangements and self-rostering, we want you to thrive in your new role while maintaining a healthy work life balance. Choose your own shifts from available lates, nights, twilights and middle shifts.
You will receive up to 2 weeks of specialist training prior to the team going live, including supernumerary time in areas you may not have worked in before to build your confidence, knowledge and skills.
Areas of specialist training including: respiratory care, emergency care, cardiac care, oncology, care of the elderly, enhanced therapeutic care/mental health.

Job responsibilities
* To meet the needs of the Trust with regard to Induction, mandatory and statutory training
* To work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide effective, high quality individualised nursing care to patients and relatives/carers and to contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice.
* To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines
* To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team
* To work within the Trust's Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/Department Philosophy and the NMC Code of Conduct/Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.

Experience
* Proven post qualifying experience in an acute setting
* Participation in research/audit
Qualifications
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Evidence of continuing professional development.

* Knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice.
