Position: Deputy Home Manager (RGN / RMN / RNLD Qualified)
Hours: Full time / Fully supernumary!
Salary: up to £53,035 per year (based on 44 hours)

Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Manager, you'll be part of the management team that sets the tone for delivering the highest standards of care in compliance with the NMC code of conduct. The safety of your team and the safeguarding of your residents are a key focus for this role. Together with your Home Manager, you will set the standards of excellence that empower and encourage your team to emulate.
This role involves:
1. Health & safety management
2. Training and development of yourself and your staff
3. Marketing the home to new residents and new staff
4. Maintaining detailed and accurate care records
5. Ordering and storing all medication safely
6. Being a point of contact for residents and their families
7. Representing your home with pride and passion
8. Staying up to date with current evidence-based practice and having a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations
9. Making effective decisions to improve care quality
10. Striving to provide great quality holistic care
11. Being an ambassador of our values and helping every resident maintain their independence and dignity
Ideal Candidate:
1. Registered nurse RGN or RMN with excellent clinical skills and a valid NMC pin.
2. Currently working as a Senior Nurse/Unit Manager or Deputy Manager/Clinical Level with experience of working within a Care Home.
3. NVQ Level 5 is desirable, but not essential.
4. Good manager - confident in leading a team.
5. Multi-skilled - involved in planning, training, marketing, and financial reporting.
6. Good listener - understanding what matters to your residents, their families, and your team.
7. Good learner - taking on the challenges of training your team and yourself.
8. Ambitious - wanting the best for your home and your people.
