As Kitchen Assistant, you will ensure that a clean, hygienic environment is maintained in the kitchen at all times, whilst also providing an adequate supply of clean pans, crockery and cutlery for the kitchen and front of house operations. You will also be helping out in other areas of the catering department including assisting the chefs with food preparation for our exciting seasonal menus across three restaurants. The position of Kitchen Assistant is the perfect way to learn and forge a career within catering and hospitality. In time, the training provided will help you to progress to sought after positions such as Commis Chef and Chef de Partie where, from here, the sky is the limit You should be able to work quickly and efficiently, be self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure. No experience is necessary for this role, as full training will be provided. All we ask is that you are an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is willing to learn and works well as part of a dedicated team. We have various hours and contracts available with standard working patterns during the daytime between the hours of 8am and 5:30pm - a rarity within the hospitality industry Occasional evening work may be required to assist with evening events; however, these will be planned well in advance and are not mandatory.
