We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
2. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
3. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
4. Identify and mitigate risks throughout project execution.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Carry out and record toolbox talks and safety alerts, complete site inspections, and maintain site diaries.
7. Conduct accident investigations to both company and client time scales and report all incidents to the Managing Director.
8. Ensure a proactive approach to HSE requirements, ensuring staff have the correct PPE, it is used as required, and is in good order.
9. Be responsible for ensuring that Company QEHS guidelines are adhered to at all times and that near misses and all incidents are reported in accordance with the guidelines.
10. Assist with the company achieving all QEHS objectives.
11. Ensure high QEHS standards are implemented and met at all times.
12. Report project status and financial performance to senior management.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in the Water industry.
2. HND in Engineering (BEng or BSc).
3. PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
4. Experience in on-site engineering projects.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
7. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
