Commissioning Engineer
A Commissioning Engineer is required by a leading lighting controls systems business based in the City of London to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless commissioning of state-of-the-art lighting control systems across the UK. This is a full-time permanent role, paying circa £39k per annum. The offices are based in the City of London.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commissioning Excellence: Execute flawless commissioning of Control Systems, showcasing your technical prowess and attention to detail.
2. Customer Collaboration: Engage with customers, providing expert advice on installation, connections, and proficient fault finding.
3. Strategic Site Visits: Collaborate with contractors and end-users, scheduling and conducting site visits to facilitate timely and effective commissioning or rectification work (approx 2 to 3 visits per day).
4. Meticulous Record-Keeping: Maintain comprehensive project records to facilitate the generation of commissioning certificates upon successful project completion. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
5. Quality Reporting: Report product defects and performance issues, actively contributing insights for continuous improvement.
6. Any other duties: Undertake tasks delegated by the Site Services Manager or Senior Commissioning Engineer, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Essential Requirements:
1. Dali lighting experience
2. Need to have a ECS/JIB card/ CSCS Card
3. Should have experience of lighting controls
4. Should have carried out testing
5. Must have completed their 18th edition
6. Must be prepared to work at least one Saturday per month and overtime when required
7. Driver’s licence (desirable but not essential)
8. Ideally have worked on some of the following: Open Systems technology, LonWorks DALI, TCP/IP, Web Services, BACnet, OPC, PoE, BLE
