I am working with a start-up domiciliary care provider that are looking to hire a Care Manager for their branch in Pontefract. This opportunity is perfect for someone that enjoys autonomy and working with a director equally passionate about the homecare sector.
What’s on offer:
Up to £38,000 salary.
Generous 33 days annual leave.
Performance related bonus scheme.
Care Manager Responsibilities:
To have overall responsibility for the growth of the service, reporting to the Director.
To promote the highest standards of person-centred care.
To continually work on marketing the service in the community and on social media.
To build and maintain strong relationships with the clients and their families.
To manage clients’ care packages and to be responsible for ensuring high standards for their ongoing care.
To manage the development, recruitment, and retention of all care staff.
To have a working understanding of the Care Act and CQC’s Essential Standards.
To build and maintain strong relationships with commissioning bodies such as local authorities, CHC, etc.
Care Manager Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Deputy/Care Manager in the homecare sector.
Must be working toward/achieved an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
Must have a UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.
