This exciting job role would suit an ambitious, quick thinking and highly numerate commercial Analyst and is based in modern offices at my Client's UK HQ in Reading.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong track-record in owning the balance sheet, handling and analysing capex data, complex metrics and reporting within strict deadlines in order to deliver key, strategic reporting throughout the business. Supported by an established team both in the UK and EU, this role is both challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

Duties:
1. Ownership of the Operational Balance Sheet
2. Capex feasibility analysis/process/forecast
3. Investigation of cash variances where required
4. Identifying any potential financial risks to Head of Finance
5. Co-ordinate annual external audit & responses to queries
6. Controls around petty cash purchasing and auditing
7. Active assistance in monthly invoicing process with authorising adjustments and journal creation
8. Assisting Finance Team/wider operations team in annual budgeting process
9. Partnering with several internal functions e.g. client accounts/treasury on postings/reconciliations
10. Ad hoc duties and other project work
The Candidate:
11. Part Qualified or newly qualified Accountant
12. Strong interpersonal skills and experience in partnering with key stakeholders
13. At least two years in FP&A or Management Accounting
14. Somebody looking for an exposed, responsible job role with a pathway to increased duties
15. Proven Analytical skill with quantifiable experience in Balance sheet controls, budgeting & forecasting
16. Newly Qualified or part qualified accounting experience (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
17. Strong analytical experience
18. Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
19. Self-motivated with desire to succeed
20. Team player with good communication skills, written and verbal
