ECS Computers are a managed service provider that supply local businesses (both SME & Corporate) with a range of IT support and services.
Job Requirements
1. On-site installation of hardware and equipment.
2. Technical experience in Windows Server and Desktop infrastructure, Active Directory services and networking.
3. Technical experience in email platform administration with focus on Exchange, Office 365.
4. Technical experience in administration and maintenance of Office 365 such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint etc.
5. Experience administering VoIP communications.
6. Remote & On-site Device and Networking Support (Windows and Mac).
7. Strong customer relationship & communication skills.
8. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
9. Experience in using RMM systems preferred.
10. Technical experience in maintaining UTM firewalls and other security systems. WatchGuard experience preferred.
11. Driving license essential.
12. Some weekend and weekday on-call work required – this is scheduled in advance.
Main Duties
1. Maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patch management and monitoring.
2. Remote & telephone help desk support.
3. On-site support for servers, networking and end user devices.
4. Supporting the installation and maintenance tasks of new equipment such as servers, networking equipment and desktops.
5. Meeting tight customer SLA deadlines.
6. Ensuring documentation is well noted and maintained.
7. Patch management.
8. Routine maintenance tasks.
9. Managing and resolving site outages, and keeping key stakeholders notified of processes and changes during the event.
10. Experience with Watchguard products, ConnectWise Manage and Nable N-Central are a big plus!
Must be driven, keen and willing to learn.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
