We are seeking an efficient Receptionist to join our team here at Macmillan Distribution on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our reception area and providing exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.
A typical day will involve tasks such as organising and welcoming visitors, liaising with various MDL departments, answering and forwarding phone calls/emails, and performing other administrative tasks associated with the role, including sorting mail, distributing time and attendance reports, and raising invoices for payment using Xflow.
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
1. To be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, preferably with a satisfactory pass in English and Maths.
2. Articulate, with a polite, positive, and friendly telephone manner.
3. Flexible and willing attitude, able to work within a team environment.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs/Sheets.
5. Solid written and verbal communication skills.
6. Excellent organisational skills.
7. Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
8. Previous experience of working in a busy Reception environment.
9. Previous administrative experience.
Salary: £16,325.92
Hours of work: Onsite Monday to Friday (inclusive) 12pm – 5pm. As this role is part of a job share, there will be a requirement for additional hours to cover holiday or other absence, which would be a 7.5-hour shift worked between 7am – 5pm.
