Role Overview
A clear understanding of the issues facing young people is required. The role involves engaging students who are deemed at risk, have disengaged, or exhibit attendance or behaviour issues. The aim is to reduce their barriers to learning by making appropriate referrals and monitoring behaviour and attendance levels to ensure they remain on programme.
Responsibilities
1. Thinking creatively to encourage re-engagement.
2. Utilizing relevant college systems effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
Educated to a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential, along with strong IT skills and GCSEs at grades A-C in English & Maths (or 4-9).
