Aboutthe role
Raytheon UK is lookingfor a Project Controller to work within its Space and AirborneMission Area providing project scheduling and controls support aspart of the Enterprise Performance Group. This includes thegeneration, ysis and reporting of key schedule and earned valuemanagement metrics to support the programme in reporting and keydecision making. We are looking for our team to advocate for anddeliver robust project controls, metrics and reporting by utilisingour various tools to give clear, objective visibility of programmehealth.
MainDuties:
* Responsibilityfor the development and integrity of the Integrated Master Schedule(IMS) and ensuring that all activities, events and milestones arelogically linked, fully resourced and aligned to the fiscalcalendar.
* Leading and supporting scheduledevelopment work as the programmeprogresses.
* Supporting the Programme Managerwith ysis of trend data and provision of programme metrics forreview at Programme Review Boards.
* Ensuringcontractual and programme baseline control management isadopted.
* Supporting the Integrated Project Teamwith the generation and ysis of EVM data, and by performing ysissuch as critical path, schedule risk ysis and Earned Value varianceroot cause ysis.
* Monthly collation and ysis offinance data such as schedule derived Estimates To Complete(ETCs).
* Supporting the development of ProgrammeWork Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Organisational BreakdownStructures
* (OBS) to ensure effective cost andschedule reporting.
* Supporting Bid and Proposalactivities through the collation and transfer of Basis of Estimatesinto the Pricing Team.
* Support to the ProgrammeRisk & Opportunity Management Process with riskidentification, doentation, and risk ysis, including the trackingof mitigation and capture plans within the IMS asrequired.
* Support the programme and businessarea to develop key controls information, metrics and ytics to giveclear visibility of programme health through schedule, EVM andPower BI tools
CandidateRequirements
* Experienceof working in a Project / Programme Management / Controlsenvironment.
* Experience of and competent in theuse of Microsoft Project EPM 2010/13/16, and other Microsoft Officeapplications including Excel. Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI andan ability to learn quickly our internal EVM and schedule metricstools
* Ability to support and guide ProgrammeManagers and their teams' ability to multi-task, with good writtenand verbal communication ss across all levels of thebusiness.
* Ability to work with diverse projectteams and stakeholders.
* Ability to support,guide and influence project teams to ensure programmes are set upin accordance with Raytheon standard practices andprocesses.
* Commercial and Business awareness ina complex projects environment.
* Experiencedworking with multi-disciplined teams over geographically dispersedsites.
* Current holder of, or eligibility toobtain, SC MoD security clearance
Desirable
* Practicalor theoretical Knowledge of IMS and EVMintegration
* Practical experience of Power BIwith the ability to evaluate reports, trouble report queries andunderstand user requirements for newreports
* Experience of working within theDefence Industry
* Working knowledge of trainingtransformation programmes and supplier schedule integration andoversight
