Role Overview
The successful individual will work within the Accounts Receivable team for 10 months. Throughout this time you will gain insight knowledge and experience within financial services, and also our operations department and how each team plays a vital role in the facilitation of trades.
Role Responsibilities
1. Build a professional working relationship with clients and TP ICAP employees.
2. Meet key targets as agreed with management.
3. Maintain accurate manual task records.
4. Recommend and implement improvements to the systems, processes and procedures.
5. Comply with policies, guidelines and controls and monitor and report any breaches.
6. Meet audit requirements & deadlines.
7. Work with IT to ensure new business is integrated into AR and to ensure AR development requirements are met.
8. Assist AR team with manual ad hoc tasks where required.
9. Identify and remedy static data issues.
Experience / Competences
Essential
1. Must be currently a Year 2 student within University.
2. Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, possesses high organisation skills & a proactive approach.
3. Demonstrates strong analytical ability and problem solving skills.
4. Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
5. Highly effective written & oral communication skills; adapts communication style to suit audience.
6. Shows evidence of being comfortable working in fast paced or pressured environments.
7. Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Desired
1. Knowledge of financial markets.
