As their business continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Role: As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients workforce and management team, ensuring smooth HR operations within a fast-paced, unionised manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in an industrial setting and is confident managing employee relations, policies, and HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide HR support and advice to managers and employees across the organisation.
Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management.
Work collaboratively with trade unions and employee representatives to foster positive industrial relations.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate HR records and support HR reporting requirements.
What Our Client is Looking For:
Proven HR advisory experience in a manufacturing or similar blue-collar, unionised environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience in handling complex employee relations cases.
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
