The role: As a Mechanical Junior Supervisor, you’ll supervise work carried out by employees under your control to ensure compliance and airworthiness.
Responsibilities:
* Carrying out 1st and 2nd signature responsibilities.
* Deputising for B5T as appropriate.
* Carry out flight servicing.
* Maintaining an effective changeover by debriefs or written log to provide a smooth transition and continuation of trade tasks, between each shift where and when applicable.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Waddington.
Essential experience:
* Previous engineering background showing knowledge and understanding to apply technical practical skills.
* Knowledge of Quality (QMS), Safety (SMS) and Environmental Management Systems.
* Knowledge of MOD policy documentation and organisation including Part-M, Part-145 and any other relevant regulations.
* Ability to use information systems and appropriate resources management and production planning skills.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years relative aviation experience, minimum of 3 years at technician level.
* Supervisors in Aviation training.
* Mechanical Systems Type course.
* Training in an Aircraft related discipline to City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent (NVQ Level 3).
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
