Alleyn's School are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Theatre Operations to oversee the day-to-day management of the Edward Alleyn Building, home to our RIBA award-winning, 350-seat theatre.
As the Head of Theatre Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of this vibrant space, overseeing all aspects of its operational life. This includes managing staffing, training, front of house, food and beverage services, technical operations, compliance, and health and safety. You will work closely with the Head of Events to deliver exceptional experiences for a diverse range of audiences.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing theatre operations, including front of house, a strong understanding of theatre production processes and technical operations, exceptional leadership skills and a proactive and organised approach.
This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £46,000 to £51,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Given the nature of the role, some flexibility with working hours will be required to accommodate the needs of events.
