Internal Communications Manager - UK & Ireland Application Deadline: 21 March 2025 Department: Marketing Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Home United Kingdom Reporting To: Head of Corporate Communications Description We're looking for an Internal Communications Manager to support our UK & Ireland business division. Our UK & Ireland team comprises 3,500 employees who are specialists in handling and defending insurance claims on behalf of insurance clients. The growing team of professionals span claims handlers, loss adjusters, lawyers, investigators, fraud experts and additional specialised roles who are supporting policyholders on behalf of insurance clients throughout the claims process. Careful consideration and planning will be required to deliver internal communications messages and content to this diverse range of employees who operate from a mix of offices, homes and in the field throughout the UK, Ireland and Italy. As our business grows, we adapt and change the way we operate, and our internal communications team play a vital role in ensuring our employees stay informed and up to date with our organisation's evolution. Key Responsibilities Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the UK & Ireland leadership team and advise on strategic internal communications approach. Establish and maintain strong relationships with core supporting functions including HR, IT, Compliance, and Operations & Finance to develop a holistic overview of business activity and objectives and ensure communications support these activities are planned, scheduled & executed accordingly. Write & develop engaging & exciting communications, with clear call to actions that drive the business objectives. Work closely with our change management team to ensure change within the UK & Ireland division is communicated effectively and in an easy to digest way. Create, implement, and manage a proactive internal communications programme tailored to our UK & Ireland colleagues. Establish a cadence of regular, UK & Ireland orientated content for newsletters, leadership townhalls, and other regular internal communications. Ensure UK & Ireland is represented on the Group Intranet site and hosts shared documentation and information. Work with the events team to organise and execute the annual UK & Ireland leadership engagement programmes. Identify and advise the most effective way to cascade messaging through a variety of communication channels including the employee intranet, newsletters, emails, webinars, internal notice boards and posters. Collaborate and work with communications colleagues across the corporate communications team to ensure the UK & Ireland plan incorporates Group messaging and communications. Tailor, develop, plan and edit content for a UK & Ireland audience. Deliver monthly reports to the leadership team on activities executed & planned.
