Exciting work you will do:
* Collaborating with the Recruitment Manager to gain a detailed understanding of organisational goals and talent needs so as to support initiatives through quality hiring for assigned areas of support.
* Proactively managing and maintaining high quality and responsive relationships with internal clients and candidates.
* Expanding recruiting expertise by staying abreast of recruiting trends, best practices, social media, legal developments, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons.
* Assisting in counseling hiring managers on recruitment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
* Ensuring a solid process of providing a qualified talent pipeline and a smooth interview and hiring process with the candidate experience in mind.
* Manage the end to end recruitment life cycle for hires in to the Academy (North Highland's early career programme).
* Preparing recruitment reports and metrics in keeping with established processes.
* Ensuring data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
* Contributing to department and company process improvements.
What you will need:
* Experience as a recruiter or recruitment coordinator with a fast-paced management consulting, advisory, agency and/or corporate recruiting environment, or equivalent work experience is desired but not expected.
* General knowledge of employment law.
* Sourcing and networking skills to generate and expand a candidate pipeline aligned with current and projected business objectives.
* Effective organisation, planning, process, time management, and multitasking skills to meet hiring needs.
* Ability to manage candidate expectations, provide timely feedback, and ensure that candidates have a positive recruiting experience.
* Negotiating skills.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills including poise, tact and diplomacy.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to document and influence.
* Proficiency in using various applicant tracking systems, social media, recruitment tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other productivity and recruiting tools.
* An acute attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
* Ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs and reprioritise work as necessary.
* Please note, all applicants must be prepared to be onsite in the London office up to two days per week.
