This is an exciting opportunity for a psychological professional including Cognitive Behavioural Therapist; Counselling Psychologist; Clinical Psychologist to join the Doncaster Primary Care Mental Health Hubs, working with adult and older adults with complex mental health difficulties.
The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and evidence based interventions and support the continued development of this service to deliver innovative ways of supporting people to improve their mental health and wellbeing and support recovery.
You will be joining a supportive multidisciplinary team, working in an integrated way to deliver trauma informed care within the community, promoting recovery and inclusion.
• To work as an autonomous clinician as part of the multidisciplinary team providing specialist assessments, formulation, case management and treatment to adults with a range of psychological and emotional disorders within the Primary care mental health hubs.
• To formulate a range of treatment options based on an appropriate conceptual framework, drawing on a wide range of models and techniques.
• To act as a clinical expert in the field of your professional qualification, providing consultation and education to within the hubs.
• To facilitate psychological therapy groups.
• To support clinical leadership of the development of psychological therapy pathways to support transformation and service development.
• To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account risk factors and management where appropriate.
• To work in conjunction with multi-agency policies and procedures, adhering to training requirements for the locality mental health teams.
• To work closely with all appropriate partners in fostering good working partnerships in the development of the Transformation Projects.
• To develop evaluations in relation to clinical interventions with service users, carers and staff using focus groups to further develop clinical
• To promote a culture in which there is a positive approach to managing risk and change, working closely with other senior clinicians, including medical staff to ensure this.
