The role of the Installation Co-ordinator is a vital part of the Echo House team and an essential link between the Project Managers the install team and sub-contractors. The installation Coordinator will have exceptional diary management and administrative skills, along with attention to detail. The role will include but is not limited to booking in installation visits to stores, as well as ensuring that the install team have all the relevant passes, and information packs. You will also be responsible for updating the Health and Safety RAMs reports and submitting these to the relevant store prior to the install. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: UNIVERSAL Operating with integrity – performing whole and complete work for and with all Echo colleagues, clients and suppliers alike. CORE KNOWLEDGE BASE Understanding of the print and graphics market (desirable) Scheduling experience Understanding materials, tools and the installation process (desirable) Retail space knowledge and experience (desirable) CORE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Booking and co-ordination of the install team and sub-contractors Clear communication to the project team, the logistics dept and the installers Ensure timings and booking procedure is maintained MAIN DUTIES: Book in installation visits to stores using either stores own on-line portal or by e mail. Up-dating security passes and insurance questionnaires as necessary. Updating and amending standard RAM’s reports and submitting to stores prior to installation visits. Maintaining communication with stores to prepare for visits as necessary. Book in sub-contract installations teams Gather sub-contractor schedules and quotations, document costs on standard Excel schedules. Send schedules of costs to Project Coordinators and obtain approval for costs. Submitting cost to procurement to raise a Purchase Order and confirming with Sub-contractors. Liaising with installation teams prior to, and during site visits in order to assist in the GENERAL Echo is a dynamic, busy company with a close working team and as such we sometimes require our employees to work on additional bespoke projects outside of their daily duties. This is also aimed to encourage and broaden individual skills and ambitions. To perform other reasonable tasks as required by the Directors or your department head. Good Excel and MS Office knowledge and practical experience. A quick learner with a positive approach will pick up everything they need to know at Echo. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and a quick learner in general operational software.
