Administration / Service Support Manager
The Administration / Service Support Manager - HPB, Endocrine, and Upper GI Surgery role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage and streamline administrative operations within these specialised surgical services. The postholder will oversee patient pathways, scheduling, and administrative functions to ensure smooth service delivery and an exceptional patient experience. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, the role involves managing 18-week pathway targets, addressing patient queries, and ensuring compliance with Trust policies. This position is ideal for candidates with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, keen to contribute to improving efficiency and outcomes in a dynamic surgical environment.
Main duties of the job
* Manages the people, processes and performance of an administration or service support team within a specified service.
* Manages the planning and prioritization of the work associated with their team and organises all activities in order to achieve a cost effective, productive, high quality service.
* Provides cross site support to enable co-operation within and amongst teams.
