Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Sales Representative for the UK. The ideal candidate will be excited about partnering to launch a new start-up and will have experience in B2B sales with enterprise customers, focusing on high-value negotiations.
We are reinventing strategies from go-to-market to lead generation and account management. We seek a Sales representative capable of collaborating with Product Management and Tech teams as we scale this new solution nationally.
The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a start-up environment. They will develop a sales strategy from scratch and execute on ambitious product adoption goals. Experience in building relationships across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and IT, along with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive revenue, adoption, and market share for our product.
2. Build trust with customers and recommend solutions tailored to their needs.
3. Measure performance, analyze root causes, and identify improvement areas.
4. Communicate market needs to internal teams including Product Management and Technical.
5. Set program goals, track progress, and overcome obstacles.
6. Analyze purchasing processes to identify improvements that enhance user experience, reduce costs, and boost organizational performance.
7. Promote product adoption by advising customers on best practices.
8. Coordinate with technical teams for seamless product integration.
9. Collaborate with operations and product teams to test and develop bespoke solutions.
10. Expand business relationships within Amazon.
11. Assess risks, anticipate challenges, and manage escalations.
12. Meet or exceed customer and feature spend targets.
13. Prioritize tasks and manage trade-offs to achieve goals.
A Day in the Life
This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities for Amazon Shipping. You will generate leads through various channels, build a pipeline, and stay informed on logistics market trends. Engaging with clients, negotiating, managing contracts, and onboarding customers are key tasks. Post-onboarding, focus on driving spend adoption, optimizing the product, and seeking business expansion opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Experience using data to drive improvements
* Background in business development, partner management, or sales
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
