Location: Trafford Park Office based
Start Date: ASAP
Talent Accountancy & Finance are looking for a strong, experienced Payroll Assistant to join a well-established, acquisitive business to support the delivery of accurate and timely payroll across both weekly and monthly cycles.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with the preparation and processing of multiple payrolls across the group, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
2. Produce supporting reports to enable timely payments and reconciliation across various business units.
3. Play a key role in payroll projects planned over the short and long term.
4. Collaborate with site contacts to ensure processes are followed and reduce errors in payroll.
5. Support the payroll lead and wider team in embedding new processes that reduce duplication and improve accuracy.
6. Answer employee queries regarding tax, NI, and general pay with professionalism and clarity.
7. Ensure accurate HMRC reporting and compliance at all times.
The Person
We are looking for someone experienced, who knows fast-paced, high-volume payrolls. Someone who is confident in looking at how payroll processes are being done and making suggestions as well as implementing improvements with a view to building out 1st class payroll processes.
The successful person will need to be a confident communicator, who has a very good eye for detail (you know the earache that comes if someone's pay is wrong!) and enjoys methodically working through end-to-end payroll processing with the wider team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, takes pride in precision, and is keen to contribute to the smooth running of a busy finance function. #J-18808-Ljbffr
