In a company like ours, you are encouraged and expected to contribute to many wider issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounts payable: - Process all supplier invoices and staff expense claims. Credit cards – scanning all receipts and matching to monthly statements. Charge Card reconciliations on Spendesk/Soldo. Preparing payment runs and uploading them to the bank for approval. Dealing with supplier queries. Accounts receivable: - Process all sales invoices to align with billing schedules, client PO’s and project schedules. Uploading and monitoring invoices on client portals. Updating relevant reports e.g., sales daybooks, cashflow. Credit control – ensuring client invoice payment dates are confirmed in advance of due dates. Cash flow and Bank reconciliations – daily bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are matched and recorded in Paprika and reconciled to statements on monthly basis. Fixed asset management and reconciliation. Improving and updating processes on regular basis and regular housekeeping of online filing systems. Assist operations director with timesheet chasing. Prepare VAT submissions and reconciliations. Helping ensure financial procedures are followed. Ad hoc related tasks as required. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 1 year of experience with Accounts Payable. Paprika software experience is desirable. Graduate of a business degree with a finance aspect, or studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA etc. Highly organised and able to manage your time effectively.
