Description Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service Station Manager salary in accordance with NJC pay scales Wholetime Temporary This position is open to current Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) staff only. An opportunity to undertake the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Station Manager role for a six months temporary has become available in the Risk and Resilience department. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service are looking to fill this vacancy with a motivated and committed individual who can demonstrate strong organisational values in line with SCC and SFRS. Your role and responsibilities Leadership of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, ensuring resources, systems and procedures are resilient and comply with health and safety legislation. Ensure effective observation and investigation of health and safety matters falling within scope of the department. Oversee the development of suitable initiatives for all Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service employees in the key areas of Welfare, Fitness, Mental/Physical Health and Environment. The role comes with Flexible Duty System commitments requiring Incident Command level 2 and Light Vehicle Emergency Response Driving qualifications. Should the qualifications not be held the individual will be supported in attaining them therefore please be aware of course attendance at short notice. You must be eligible to apply as per ADC/SM Pathway progression under the SPD. Flexi duty cover will be where this is required at the time.
