Job overview
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band Clinical/Operational Lead to join our Joint Emergency Team (JET), which is a 24-hour response, admission avoidance service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong teamwork ethic, a sense of accountability, flexibility, and the ability to work under considerable pressure at times.
You will lead and support the team, offering clinical supervision and appraisals. You will work closely with other team leads and the Clinical/Operational Manager to support the delivery and development of the service across the county.
Experience in managing a team is essential, along with experience in clinical triaging.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced clinician with a passion for delivering high-quality care, with experience in either acute medicine, emergency medicine, or community care.
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and operational staff/service management.
You will work alongside colleagues with real expertise in the area of community care.
The team has a passion for improvement, innovation, and delivering high-quality care to patients in their own homes while working with the wider multidisciplinary teams within the local community.
We are looking for clinicians who are team players, have highly developed communication skills, are able to work flexibly, and can prioritize their own workload.
Working for our organisation
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is a health and social care organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care with compassion to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we care for, as well as supporting and empowering them to lead a fulfilling life.
Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services, not only via inpatient and primary care settings but also within the community. These services include children's, adult, and older people's mental health, forensic and specialist mental health, learning disabilities, primary care and liaison psychiatry, substance misuse, and social care.
To achieve our goal, we look to recruit high-caliber candidates who share our vision and values. As an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under-represented groups including disabled people and members of our ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ communities.
Please be advised we reserve the right to close adverts earlier than the closing date should we receive sufficient applications.
Regrettably, we cannot offer sponsorship for all our job roles. If you apply for a role that we cannot offer sponsorship for, unfortunately, your application form will be rejected from the process.
