RCM ILS Engineer

Rate: £50 PAYE or £65.98 Umbrella

About the Role:
BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer – Support Engineering (Maintenance Design) to join our growing team. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in maintenance derivation and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), you'll play a vital role in delivering Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) solutions to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely while contributing to cutting-edge engineering projects that shape the future of defence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver maintenance derivation and Logistic Support Analysis outputs.
* Provide expert technical guidance on ILS activities, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Defence (MoD) and industry standards.
* Interface with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to support maintenance design activities.
* Develop and deliver Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies and schedules, ensuring alignment with DEFSTAN 00-045 and BR1313A methodologies.
* Support Engineering Design Reviews and initiate amendments for maintenance resulting from design changes.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the engineering team.
