We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in his family home.
Our service user is a gentleman in his early 20s who lives with his family in Southminster and requires support throughout the day on a 2:1 basis.
He loves to be busy, participating in various activities including baking, exploring arts and crafts, and playing games on his iPad. To relax he enjoys a foot spa, listening to stories and sensory related activities.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to assist with social activities as well as meeting his care needs, this could include personal care, mobility support and attending to his clinical care needs when required.
As his dedicated healthcare assistant, you will play a big part in helping him to access the community and support him in enjoying his hobbies and interests such as visiting local parks, garden centres, going bowling, and enjoying trips to the seaside and the zoo.
It is essential that you have a valid driving licence for this position
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following shifts available;
1. Part Time
2. Days: 7am 7pm
3. 1-2 Shifts Per Week
4. Alternate Weekends

Weekdays: £ per hour (£192 per 12 Hour Shift)
Weekends: £ per hour (£204 per 12 Hour Shift)
Bank Holidays: £ per hour (£210 per 12 Hour Shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
