As an Environmental Sustainability Analyst in the Responsible Business & Sustainability team in Corporate Affairs, you’ll join the team that helps make Sky Zero happen. Sky has a long track record of reducing its environmental impact and we maintain high standards in how we track and report our carbon emissions. You’ll be working with a supportive team of experts, to help continue and progress Sky’s environmental data reporting. Manage the data collection of Sky’s operational energy and emissions data, using Sky’s emissions reporting platform. Involves collaboration with data providers from a range of departments across Sky. Support the Responsible Business Manager with the preparation of Sky’s Scope 1 and 2 environmental data report. Assist in maintaining Sky’s robust controls procedures around Greenhouse Gas reporting. Prepare and update documentation required for internal and external audit. Support on data collection & analysis for selected Scope 3 emissions categories (e.g. waste, business travel). Support on data provision to inform decarbonisation strategy. Prepare analysis and materials which demonstrate Sky’s environmental performance. Contribute to the annual update of Sky’s emissions projections. Support on both internal and external reporting requirements (such as RE100, EV100, CDP). What you’ll bring: Educated to degree-level or equivalent on the job experience A passion for data quality and attention to detail, ensuring that our reporting is robust and will stand up to external audit Strong excel skills, comfortable using formulae to manipulate and analyse datasets Interest in corporate sustainability and environmental data, familiarity with Greenhouse Gas Protocol preferred but not required Basic understanding of data visualisation principles, experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) preferred but not essential Friendly, approachable, and communicates effectively Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement and a can-do attitude Team Overview: The Responsible Business Team are part of the Bigger Picture team, Sky’s social and environmental impact team. We are responsible for calculating and reporting Sky’s carbon footprint. This data contributes to the enterprise-wide reporting of our parent company, Comcast, and also feeds into regulatory reporting requirements such as SECR. Importantly, we provide insight back to the business to enable teams to make informed decisions around Sky’s environmental impact and deliver on our commitments.
