An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Urologist with a special interest in Stone surgery and endourology (10 PAs per week) to join Tayside Regional Urology Service. This substantive post is based primarily at Ninewells but includes further sessions at Perth Royal Infirmary.
The successful candidate will join the team providing specialist services for patients with urological stone disease. They will also complement the growing consultant team in providing regional emergency and general urology services within NHS Tayside. Applications from doctors with appropriate specialist training and experience who are not listed on the GMC Specialist Register can be considered for a Locum Consultant post (up to 12 months) if no substantive Consultant appointment is made. Whilst in locum employment, an application to obtain a portfolio pathway entry onto the Specialist Register can be made.
Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR (CP) at the date of interview for the post.
