Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. These roles involve working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment with full training and qualifications provided.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs in residential or independent living settings. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Candidates should possess confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
As part of your role, you will support the young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.
Please note, you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and successfully finish one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

10. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern
11. Keep up to date with procedures and policy changes
12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others
13. Perform additional relevant duties as required
