About the role: As on Outreach Tutor, you’ll play a key role in delivering education and mentorship in a variety of settings, including outreach centres, homes and the school itself. Your main responsibilities include: Providing tailored support to students to help them engage fully in their education Deliver 1:1 or small group sessions that promote academic progress and personal growth Travel to outreach locations and homes to provide education in diverse environments Support emotional wellbeing and equip students with essential life skills Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff and families to adopt a holistic approach to student development About you: We are looking for someone who: Is genuinely passionate about supporting young people with additional needs Demonstrates empathy, resilience and professionalism, especially when managing challenging behaviour Has prior experience working with individuals with SEN or additional needs Holds a valid drivers licence (minimum of 2 years), access to their own vehicle and business insurance Possesses strong communication skills to inspire and motivate students Is adaptable, flexible and has a great sense of humour Working hours: Monday - Friday, term time only, 08:45 - 16:45.
