A market-leading manufacturer of innovative seating systems for the aerospace industry is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead business development and account management across global aviation clients.
This is a high-profile, client-facing role suited to someone with deep knowledge of aerospace supply chains, experience working with major OEMs or Tier 1 interiors suppliers, and a strong track record of delivering sales growth in a technical environment.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll be responsible for expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities within the civil aviation sector — including major airlines, OEMs, and integrators.
You’ll act as the strategic partner and voice of the customer, guiding internal teams to deliver high-spec seating solutions that exceed expectations in comfort, innovation, safety, and compliance.

Own and grow a portfolio of aerospace seating accounts across the UK and international markets.

Identify and develop new sales opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and airline clients.

Build long-term relationships with procurement, engineering, and programme stakeholders.

Drive RFQ responses, pricing strategy, bid preparation, and contract negotiation processes.

Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure product delivery aligns with client expectations.

Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments to inform strategy.

Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings worldwide.

Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and commercial insight to senior leadership.
Required Experience & Skills:

5+ years’ sales or business development experience within the aerospace industry.
*
Prior exposure to seating, interiors, or other cabin-related systems is highly desirable.
*
Excellent track record in B2B sales, including negotiating complex, high-value contracts.

Strong understanding of the aerospace OEM and MRO landscape.
*
Technically minded with the ability to engage with engineers and translate requirements into solutions.

Comfortable with UK and international travel
