Trinity ward at Ripon Community Hospital is a 19 bedded rehabilitation ward with 2 palliative care beds

Working as part of the Multidisciplinary team, you will deliver individualised nursing and rehabilitation care to patients and will be supported by the senior nursing staff and the highly skilled therapy team. Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We will provide robust role-related training to ensure you are supported and competent including core mandatory training. In addition, there is a wealth of clinical skills training and supervision available to you.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours per week with flexible shifts pattern covering night and day. If you are interested in part time hours then please contact the ward manager.
1. To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and to provide nursing care for patients. This requires detailed knowledge of equipment and specialised information on procedures undertaken in the clinical environment.
2. In consultation with senior staff, the post holder will help plan, co-ordinate, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
3. Maintain standards in accordance with ward/Trust policies and procedures and NMC code of conduct.
4. Maintain a safe working environment, being aware of the necessity to comply with Health & Safety regulations and the Environmental Health Act, and to attend mandatory training courses.
5. Maintain safe custody of all drugs and medicines.
6. To work unsupervised at times, using ward Protocols and Policies.
Person specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (no OSCE training available)
Experience
* One year Post-NMC registration clinical experience
* Working with elderly and/or patients with mental health requirements
* Demonstrates HDFT's values when caring for patients
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
