Middlemore have partnered on a retained basis with a global Investment management business for the hire of a HR Associate for their EMEA markets. This role is ideal for a HR professional looking to gain experience in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an eye for detail, forward thinking and is a pro-active individual wanting to showcase success through collaboration and innovation. The role will be supporting a world class Director level, HR Business Partner for a dedicated internal client group based across EMEA. Other responsibilities will include:
HR Administration and Compliance:
* Working with the relevant internal HR teams to ensure successful completion of all transactions relating to the employee life cycle.
* Managing end to end process relating to employee leaves.
* Preparing HR documentation as required.
* Regular review of internal processes and documents to ensure compliance i.e. induction, org charts etc.
* Supporting with the annual certification process for the Senior Manager Certification Regime.
* Liaising with internal HR teams as necessary.
HR Business Partnering:
* Acting as a trusted advisor to managers providing first-line HR guidance on policy interpretation, performance management and employee related matters. Escalating necessary matters to the HR Business Partner.
* Managing all new hire inductions.
Recruitment:
* Working with the HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition team on the preparation of requisitions in readiness for the recruitment process.
* Independently managing the full intern recruitment process.
Training and Development:
* Working with EMEA Talent Development team to identify programs for internal client groups.
* Support coordination of learning and development programs.
HR Data & Reporting
* Generating and analysing HR reports including headcount, attrition, and diversity metrics
* Maintaining accurate and real-time HR records relating to employee changes.
* Liaising with Global HR teams on information and data in readiness for annual cyclical processes.
* Ensure data integrity within HR systems, conducting regular audits to maintain accuracy.
The successful candidate will have a background in Financial Services and be operating in a similar role currently. What else will you need:
* Previous experience of working in a HR Business Partnering Team.
* Strong administrative and data management experience with excellent attention to detail.
* Advance MS Office skills, excel in particular.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
* Working knowledge of HR systems (ideally Workday).
