The Role

If yes, we have an excellent opportunity for a People Development and Engagement professional to join our People Team. This role focuses on staff development and engagement, which are key commitments to our Students' Union and are central to our strategic plans.
The successful candidate will support identifying, delivering, and measuring development initiatives to enable our staff to deliver excellent services. You will oversee and develop digital learning content, including our learning management system and bespoke performance support materials, ensuring development opportunities are engaging, relevant, and accessible. Additionally, you will co-lead internal communications and staff engagement initiatives to promote motivation and pride within the team.
About You
You should have current knowledge and experience in learning and development, including designing, delivering, and evaluating innovative solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders. Experience in content creation, procurement, and using digital tools for development and engagement is important. Planning, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial for delivering solutions effectively. Familiarity with learning management systems and Office 365 is required. Experience or interest in staff communications and engagement is a plus. You should be passionate about our values and committed to providing excellent service.
