Job Title: Moulding Leader Salary: £39,000 Benefits: Flexible Holiday, Recognition & Reward Scheme, EAP more Job Type: Permanent Location: Launceston Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Days We’re supporting our client, a global, leading injection moulding company based in Launceston, who are looking for a Moulding Leader to join their growing team. The successful Moulding Leader will have previous junior management experience, as well as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent injection moulding processing skills. Job Summary: As a Moulding Leader, you will be responsible for the team supervision and quality of all components being manufactured within the department. Your role will be to execute production plans to the highest efficiency, right first time and partake in and implement improvement activities to continuously improve the safety and welfare of the team, output performance and adhere to business objectives. Responsibilities for Moulding Leader: Ensure departments adherence to Health and Safety requirements. Maintain and enhance departmental housekeeping standards. Execution of production plan to meet efficiency targets. Ensure production quality is maintained to required standards. Participate in efficiency improvement programmes. Abide by and ensure departments compliance with Companies policies and procedures. Understand department members individual needs and requirements and maximise moral, motivation within the shift and across shifts to maintain departmental relationships. To attend and present DSUM’s and ensure excellent communication across all shifts through DSR, email etc. Daily cross departmental (tool room, quality, planning, engineering, maintenance, assembly, etc) liaison. Be fully skilled in all areas and activities within the manufacturing areas on the Moulding department. Undertake production activities within the Moulding department when resourcing requires. Inspection and measurement as procedures dictate. Identify skills gaps within department’s members. Demonstrate a duty of care to all colleagues, visitors, contractors or anyone else on site. Conduct and report on Process Audits. Carry out any reasonable management requests.
