Summary
Freeman EMEA is rapidly growing and we are looking for an accomplished Project Director to join our in-house production team. Working closely with all agency disciplines, client services, production, H&S, logistics, creative and design, the role is pivotal in the execution of global projects. Our ideal candidate will have a background working in a client facing agency environment and experience delivering a broad variety of events (including exhibitions and experiential) with large scale budgets. This person will need to be driven, ambitious, thoughtful and a team player.
This position will support our EMEA Creative and Production teams. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office one day a week (typically Wednesdays) at our London location.
* Strategic planning of events: Work with the client to take project briefs to develop a clear understanding of the events objectives and formulates a detailed plan;outlining key milestones, timelines and resource requirements.
* Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of all necessary components, properties and materials for each event. Brief delivery teams on project scope, deliverables and drive the timeline.
* Team Leadership: Assemble and lead a diverse team including project managers and support staff.Provide clear direction in delegating tasks. Chair and plan all project meetings.
* Budget Management: Lead budget creation for projects, through to post-event reconciliation. Manage the budget, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately.
* Engagement: Maintain strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate closely to ensure the successful delivery of events and projects.
* Quality of delivery: Set and uphold high quality standards for events and projects. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas of improvement.
Education & Experience
* Experience working within an events agency.
* Proven experience working in event management, with a track record of successfully delivering global events.
* Excellent problem solving and challenge resolution skills.
* Confident communicator, able to present new ideas, initiatives and concepts.
* A proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external managers and contacts.
* Solid commercial mindset, understands agency business model.
* Experience in proposal development and pricing.
* Innovative thinking to bring fresh and creative ideas to enhance the event experience.
* Exceptional organizational skills and a forensic attention to detail.
* Proficient in all software packages used within Office.
