A little about myself:
I am a young boy; I live with my mum and baby sister. I love going for walks and to the park, watching Cocomelon and playing with my toys - I really enjoy playing with blocks, letters and numbers. I have been diagnosed with ASD and global developmental delay. I am non-verbal and I would like for someone to spend time with me at home getting to know me before we go out anywhere. I am very busy and sensory seeking; my safety awareness is very limited, so I need to be closely always supervised. My social worker is looking to see if I need 2:1 support to go out in the community, while this is going on it would be great for my PA to be able to spend time with me at home to give my mum the chance to have a break. My PA will eventually take me out to access activities in the local community – this would either be on their own, or with a second PA, depending on what the outcome of my assessment is.
