Overview: SEND Teaching Assistant at an outstanding mainstream primary school in Eccles, Salford. Start date: ASAP Contract: Long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:30 pm. Pay: £90–105/day (DOE) Paid PAYE via Now Education (we don't use umbrella companies). Equal pay to perm staff in same role from 13th week onwards. Role: Provide one-on-one & small group support to children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, SEND. Implement tailored strategies to manage and positively influence challenging behaviours. Collaborate with teachers, SLT, parents & outside professionals. Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages the student's social and academic growth. Encourage independence and self-confidence in the students, preparing them for future transitions. School: A welcoming mainstream primary school in Eccles, Salford, catering to children aged 3-11 including those with SEND in some classes.
